Who is Hatenai Aiko? Aiko is very quiet and shy, unfortunately, she's also very insecure. While extremely intelligent, she is ashamed of her intellect and tries not to show it if possible. She doesn't have any real friends and feels like everyone is laughing at her. She doesn't feel like she's pretty, when in fact she is. Highly responsible and mature, she had been taking care of her mother, Minako, almost since she was able to talk and walk. Because of this, Aiko never had much of a childhood, but she isn't bitter towards her mother about this. She loves her mother dearly and considers her opinion towards her to be more valuable than gold. She wishes very much so to be someone else, almost anyone else, specifically either her mother or her cousin Sorano Himeko. Aiko hates herself and wishes that she could be prettier, less intelligent, and more "normal." However, Hatenai Aiko has a bit of a dual personality. When Aiko transforms into Neo Sailor V, it seems that she becomes a different person, someone more like her mother. Being Sailor V is the person that Aiko always wanted to be: Beautiful, funny, and adored. As Neo Sailor V, Aiko is confident and outgoing, quick to give orders or confront someone--something she would never be able to do as Aiko. Aiko has refused to be Neo Sailorvenus and instead claims to stand for Victory. She does this because she wants to be an individual, to wear a mask to symbollically hide Aiko, and to distance herself away from everyone else in the Sailor Team. Attacks & Powers Moon Power Transform! Aiko says these words and she floats into the air several inches. Beams of golden light appear on the ground, encircling her. Wind blows upwards, her street clothes melt off and are replaced by her Sailorfuku and gloves and shoes. Aiko's short blonde hair grows longer and more golden until it is past her knees. Red lipstick appears on her lips, as well as moon shaped earrings on her ears. Several portions of her long blonde hair rise up from each side and join together at the back of her head. A red bow magically appears, tying the strands together as Aiko's glasses melt into a red mask. She smiles and then poses exactly as Neo Sailormoon does. (Note: Moon Power Transform does sound weird, but this is what Sailor V said in the Sailor V manga.) Crescent Eclipse Neo Sailor V raises her right hand to the sky where it fills with golden energy, she brings her hand down to her body and brings her left hand towards it. The light turns into a crescent shaped disc which she can throw almost like a boomerang. The disc can slice, dice, as well as strike an opponent with a moderate blast of energy.
