Sailor Moon Z: #7 - Soul Searching

	"Now, now, girls no time to look in that pretty lil mirror..I'll 
just take that..you need to be on court 6." a woman smiled almost coldly, 
the sun caught in her hair and made it bright red like fire. She took the 
mirror almost possessively and set it down in a box,
	"You can pick it up later.." the woman assured. Michiru looked back,
	"But you see ma'am, that's not just any mirror.." Michiru tried to 
explain, the woman looked at her sharply,
	"Not just a mirror..what is it then? My, you'd think it was the 
Holy Grail or some sort of Talisman!" she laughed. Haruka stared at her, and
gripped Michiru's shoulders.
	"We'll be back for the mirror.." Haruka said in a threatening tone 
of voice. As the group walked over to court 6, Michiru could swear the woman
had whispered, "Thats what I want you to do.." but she shook it off.
	"Oh no, look who we have to play..its the Bird Queen Rei.." Jessica 
laughed as the "V" Team walked to their side of the net. "Girls, playing 
with a psychic is dangerous..they're prone to CHEAT.." Jessica explained 
to her teammates. Rei's eyes darkened, as did everyone else's.
	"Want me to kill her now or later?" Mako asked Rei.
	"It's probably how they won anyway.." Jessica said disgusted, 
"Cheaters never win..I can't stand them.." Jessica said glaring at Rei. 
Tenshi looked strangely uncomfortable.
	"Can we just play?" Minako asked holding the volleyball and ready to
serve.
	"Go ahead..we're ready.." Jessica nodded. Minako shrugged and threw
the ball into the air, with beautiful perfection she served the ball over 
the net to Tenshi, the ball however made a right turn right into Janie's 
arms.
	"YaY!" Janie exclaimed as she bumped the ball over to Alana, who in
turn set it over to Veronica who beautifully spiked it over the net. The 
ball went flying right for Usagi,
	"EEK!" she screamed and ducked. 
	"Usagi!!!!!" Rei exclaimed half in anger and half in worry. Rei 
looked at the ball, and decided to use her powers to do something about it.
She directed the ball to land right to Michiru who bumped the ball over the
net. The other team, however, didn't expect to happen and the ball lightly 
hit the ground with everyone staring at it.
	"That's the ball..you're supposed to HIT it.." Haruka said making 
motions for them. Michiru and Mako laughed. Minako smiled over at Haruka and
shook her head then served the ball again, but unlike her first time some 
strange force made it fly straight into the net. Minako looked stunned.
	"Thats never happened before in my whole life.." she murmered.
	"First time for everything!" Jessica called gaily as she handed 
Janie the ball to serve. She served the ball, it wobbled a bit and Haruka 
easily hit it back over the net to Tenshi. Once again the ball seemed to 
defy gravity and slow down, she daintly hit the ball and it headed for the 
ground, however it rose up and started to rise and a shocked Alana hit it 
over the net. Rei, Usagi, Michiru, Haruka, Mako, and Minako looked at the 
ball in shock, but none of the moved. The ball made a thud as it hit the 
ground admist the silence.
	"Enough with the games.." a sharp voice said piercing the silence, 
the crowd of onlookers looked around.
	"But its not over.." Minako started,
	"You guys...that's the voice of.." Rei began, looking as if she had
an awful feeling about saying the name she was going to say, "Scorpio.." she
whispered and pointed the ward at the woman. It was the woman from earlier,
who had taken Michiru's mirror, now dressed in a black suit. She took out a
pin that held her bun up, and her red-streaked black hair tumbled down her 
shoulders. She looked into the Deep Aqua Mirror,
	"How do I look?" she smiled coldly. By then the crowd had ran away 
in fear and so had the "Stars". 
	"I knew it was you.." Michiru screamed, turning the usually calm and
collected individual to one raging with emotion.
	"Your not getting away with that talisman.." said a voice, 
	"Oh don't tell me..its the Sailor Senshi.." Scorpio guessed, not 
turning around.
	"Not quite. We are the Senshi of the Celestial bodies in the sky..
the Zodiac Senshi!" Sailor Leo said with a flip of her hair, "And we won't 
let people like you get away with a piece of a star!" she replied.
	"More Senshi? Oh yes..how could I forget. You have the Garnet Orb." 
Scorpio said she put her hand under her chin as if she where musing, and 
turned her back on the others who ran off to transform.
	"Yes, more Senshi. I know what you did to the Sailor Senshi, and I 
warn you we ARE stronger than they." Sailor Taurus answered.
	"You're just children." Scorpio said with a roll of her eyes and 
lept high into the air.
	"Red Hallucination.." she whispered and extended her knife-like 
nails. She directed the red cloud of mist towards the Zodiac Senshi and as 
she held her hand outstreched to kill Sailor Leo.
	"Rain Flood!" Sailor Aquarius said hastily causing the healing blue
rain to make the red mist disappear. Scorpio stopped in midair and jumped 
off to the side.
	"How interesting, you're my equals." she laughed. "No one is the 
whole Universe has been my equal. You're either better than me or worse.." 
she laughed again, seeming impressed. Suddenly her smile faded and twisted 
into a grimace of pain. She reextended her claws and spun around to see she
was face to face with Sailor Saturn who had stabbed her in the back with her
Silence Glaive. Scorpio lunged forward and swiped at Sailor Saturn's face 
leaving red bleeding cuts, however Saturn looked calm.
	"How.." Scorpio choked and fell to the ground.
	"You don't think I have two of these?" Sailor Saturn asked coldly, 
and kicked Scorpio's hand as she reached for Saturn's boot. Sailor Saturn 
raised the Glaive and twirled it around in the air, before holding in front 
of her body.
	"Say goodnight." she whispered to Scorpio, as her Glaive started to 
gather a ball of purple energy.
	"Silence Glaive...APPLY!" Sailor Saturn shouted and raised the 
Glaive far above her head and was ready to smash it to the ground. The air 
became strangely silent. But the silence was broken by a shrill screaming,
	"NO! STOP!!!!!" someone shouted, in surprise Sailor Saturn stopped 
and turned around. The Sailor Senshi too heard the voice and looked, they 
saw Sailor Mercury who had been missing entirely during the volleyball 
games.
	"Sailor Mercury.." Saturn said and looked at her in confusion,
	"No, Sailor Saturn don't..you can't kill her, we don't do that as 
Sailor Senshi and I'm surprised at all of you for acting this way." Sailor 
Mercury reprimanded.
	"WHAT on EARTH are you talking about? You've killed lots of people!"
Sailor Uranus exclaimed, "I would do this myself but Saturn's got more right
than I do!" she added.
	"No, Scorpio is human thoough, and we've never killed a human." 
Sailor Mercury explained. "We heal them..not kill.." Sailor Mercury added.
	"Yes, Sailor Mercury is right..I've always healed all humans..
because all humans are good at heart.." Sailor Moon said defending her 
friend. Just then Scorpio smiled, 
	"You're fools," she whispered, with surprising agility she jumped up
and grabbed Sailor Saturn's second Glaive and tripped her with it. She held
the Glaive to Saturn's neck. "I should have killed you when I had the chance
you ANNOYING little RAT.." Scorpio spat.
	"Deep Submerge!" Sailor Neptune yelled and threw the glowing ball of 
blue energy at Scorpio, who jumped out of the way then looked back at 
Saturn.
	"So then, why don't you just kill me then?" Sailor Saturn asked.
	"SATURN!!!!!" Sailor Mars screamed, the Zodiac Senshi had watched 
the whole situation in shock, suddenly Saturn's body made a strange, 
unnatural slide on the floor and rose through the air. Sailor Neptune 
screamed and started for her. Sailor Saturn was floated over the net and 
landed softly in front of the girl known as Tenshi.
	"I guess my secret is out.." she whispered. "I'm sorry..I had to do
this though..because even if I have no idea whats going on, this is not 
right." Tenshi said boldly. Scorpio looked infuriated,
	"Yes, and for that you're going to die!" Scorpio shouted, and 
jumped into the air.
	"DEEP..SUBMERGE!"
	"WORLD..SHAKING!"
	"Dead...Scream.."
As soon as Scorpio got in the air, she was knocked out by a triple hit from
the Outer Senshi. Scorpio groaned and fell to the ground. Sailor Leo turned 
to Tenshi,
	"That was a good thing you did..even if we aren't friends of the 
Sailor Senshi, we share the common enemy of Scorpio, it was admirable." she
replied. 
	"Thank you.." Tenshi said, "Well..I guess..I better go find my 
teammates and tell them what happened.." Tenshi said and started to walk 
off.
	"You hafta be smarter than THAT, Tenshi..we ARE your team mates.." 
Sailor Leo said and shook her head.
	"Oh...you....are.." Tenshi said in shock. Sailor Saturn stood up 
once again and walked over to Scorpio, picking up the Silence Glaive which 
was on the floor.
	"NOW, you need to die." she said and positioned the Glaive once 
more.
	"SAILOR SATURN DON'T!!!!!!!" Sailor Mercury screamed, and just as 
before Scorpio jumped up and tripped Sailor Saturn again, 
	"You can't kill me can you?" Sailor Saturn laughed suddenly from her
place on the ground as the madness in her head starting to take over. 
"You can't do it..as much as you want to.." Sailor Saturn concluded.
	"You're insane, I have your antagonzing weapon in my hands and 
that's why no one is doing a thing, because they know your literally inches
away from death...and you don't fear it?" Scorpio asked a bit surprised.
	"I don't fear death..because I AM the Senshi of Death. I'll come 
back..I always do..reborn as a child..but even with this information. You 
won't kill me, you can't..you've had oppurnitiies to wipe us all out and 
you haven't BECAUSE YOU CAN'T!!!" she screamed, her voice full of madness.
"You are weak, Scorpio, weak. Unlike the myself who is strong, I don't let
my emotions get in the way of duty." Saturn whispered with a mad smile.
"You ALREADY destroyed me, ruined whatever mentality I had, but still you 
won't kill me? There is NOTHING left but a SHELL bent on destroying you! 
SO JUST KILL ME!!" Saturn screamed, she grabbed the Glaive, Scorpio was 
still holding on dearly to it. Saturn thrust it forward, the force of the 
action and Scorpio's weight drove the Glaive right through Sailor Saturn's 
body.
	"Oh my god.." Sailor Uranus said and turned away,
	"SATURN!! HOTARU!!" Sailor Pluto said and dropped her Time Staff 
and ran to her. She shoved Scorpio aside who looked stunned...as did Sailor
Mercury,
	"This is all my fault.." Sailor Mercury mumbled, Sailor Mars looked
at her sharply and opened her mouth to comment, but as if remembering the 
old phrase "if you didn't have anything nice to say, don't say it", kept her
mouth shut.
	"This isn't my fault.." Scorpio said, "she took it from me..and she
did it to herself..I swear she did..I WASN'T ME.." Scorpio said she picked 
up the Deep Aqua Mirror off the ground and backed away slowly into her 
portal of wavering mist,
	"It wasn't my f..f..fault.." she said and started to shake, she 
dropped the mirror and it shattered into thousands of tiny shards.
	Scorpio looked frightened even more and started to fade out in a 
red mist,
	"This wasn't my fault.."
